History  The original organ, built in 1905 by Barckhoff, had tubular pneumatic action.  A water motor operated the bellows.  Jack and Jimmy Williams of New Orleans replaced the keys, chests, and winding system in the 1950s but kept the original layout.  A number of ranks of pipes were replaced or altered before 2000 by others.

The new organ of 2006  Barckhoff display pipes and Williams keys and blower retained.  New mechanism and pipes otherwise, except for Subbass 16 pipes, which we rebuilt and rescaled 4 sizes larger, and Dulciana.  New multilevel solid-state combination action, multiplex switching system with Transposer, leatherless chest action.

The ornate Akron plan building has the original uncarpeted wood floors.  The acoustics are excellent for congregational singing.
